Gordon Patzel
Gordon Patzel, 78, passed away at Sault Area Hospital (Plummer Site), Sunday, August 8, 2010 with his beloved family by his side following a courageous battle with cancer.
Gordon was born October 26, 1931, in Elm Creek, Manitoba, baptized May 30, 1933, and married August 15, 1953 in Winnipeg.
Gordon was a modest man of quiet sentiment who dearly loved his family and God. He was a person of compassion who selflessly cared for and served others. He was humble and appreciative of all his blessings.
He is survived by his beloved wife Betty, children Wenndy (Bill), Penny and Doug, grandchildren Kim (Dave), Charlene (Jeff), Ian, Dawn and Cathy, great-grandchildren Brandon, Kyle, Alexander, Gavin, Cole and Hope, brothers Ed, Lawrence (Sonia), Ernie (Irene) and sister Lillian (Hugh). Gordon will also be missed by his nieces, nephews and friends.
He was pre-deceased by his parents, August and Ida Patzel.
