The Atikokan Bass Classic heads into high gear tomorrow at 1 pm with the grand opening of the event office in the AEDC’s training room. Sponsors will be recognized and everyone is welcome to come out and see the hub of this year’s tourney, purchase t-shirts (including children’s sizes, new this year), hats and maps, and hopefully “sign up for volunteering at the same time,” said the ABC’s Lisa Johnson.
The tournament is now fully booked with 110 teams, and “water levels are increasing and it is looking good for [anglers to be able to fish both upper and lower levels of] the Floodwaters,” she said.
